Author Information

This page contains information for accepted authors of AAAI-MAKE 2019. Information concerning the format and submissions can be found on the call for participation page.

Authors must follow the instructions below on this page, at least one author of each submission must be registered for AAAI-MAKE 2019 and present the paper at the symposium that the publication will be part of the symposium proceedings.

The camera-ready paper and the completed publication permission form is due by 22nd of February 2019.

1. Reviewer’s Comments

Authors should address the reviewer’s comments as good as possible. However, it is not scientifically acceptable to add additional information and results to the paper, which would require a further review. Authors are advised to find the right balance by taking into account the comments of the reviewer and an appropriate number of modifications.

2. Title and Metadata

The submission title must be in emphasizing style. Information on correctly emphasizing titles in English are available in the Wiki of MusicBrainz.

The indication of whether the contribution is a position or not, should not be part of the title; instead, this should be mentioned in the abstract or introductory section of the paper.

The title and all further metadata including author's names and affiliations must be correct and consistent with the entries in EasyChair.

3. Copyright and Camera-ready Version

Since the AAAI no longer produces technical reports for its symposia or workshops, there is no copyright transfer required anymore.

Authors must remove the AAAI copyright clause and exchanging it with the following copyright footnote:

Authors must submit the camera-ready version by updating the file (paper upload) in EasyChair.

4. Proceedings and Publication Permission

Accepted and camera-ready papers shall be published on the established open access proceedings site CEUR-WS. Following the CEUR-WS conditions, AAAI template-based papers with five pages and more (10+ LNCS-equivalent pages) will be published as regular papers; papers consisting of two to four pages (5-9 LNCS-equivalent pages) will be published as short papers; abstracts for posters and demonstration will be published as abstracts.

The authors must grant a non-exclusive, irrevocable and non-time limited publication permission to the AAAI-MAKE 2019 editors/publishers by completing, signing and uploading the AAAI-MAKE publication permission form.
